Travelling Normally Again!

Having, like most people, struggled through the past 2 years with life and business, one of our team decided to take the family to the USA for a well deserved break. 

 

With the trip being planned over two years ago and being delayed twice due to Covid and lockdowns, it seemed that their trip to the USA may never happen but thankfully it finally did! 

 

Early on a February morning one of our Mercedes V Class people carriers arrived to transfer the family to Heathrow airport in style and comfort. The journey was hassle free and the family enjoyed the onboard refreshments. 

 

On arrival at Heathrow Terminal 5, the driver assisted with lifting the luggage from the vehicle and the family were quickly checked in, through security and enjoying the food and drink facilities on offer in Terminal 5. 

 

The flight departed on time and after just short of 10 hours, landed in Orlando international airport (MCO). 

 

With a warm (25 degrees) welcome and blue skies, the grey and wet skies of the UK seemed a distant memory. 

 

The family spent a fabulous two weeks enjoying the local area, Disney World and Universal Studios before heading back to MCO for the return flight which was unfortunately delayed by 3 hours due to the storms in the UK. On landing back in Heathrow the storms made it a very bumpy arrival but this was soon forgotten when one of our drivers was waiting inside the arrivals hall to assist the family back to the waiting Mercedes. 

 

A safe and stylish journey home with the traffic situation being monitored by the driver, it was definitely less hassle than driving and parking. 

 

All in all the family said it was great to take a holiday after so long and for it to actually feel like travel was normal again. 

 

With many flights now being at full capacity, and a huge number of our clients now making bookings to get away for business or pleasure, we really do believe that the airport transfers and chauffeur services we provide are starting to get back to pre-pandemic levels.
