The Future Of Airline Travel

There seems to be a number of discussions and trials with regards to aviation and the future of commercial flights at the moment, and two projects are at very different ends of the scale! 

 

On November 28th 2023 we witnessed Virgin Atlantic fly the world’s first 100% sustainable aviation fuel flight from London Heathrow to New York.

We also read about ‘Boom’ who are planning a replacement for Concorde which ended its service 20 years ago. 

Flight times around the world will be shortened and with so much information to ‘take on board’ it is definitely worth taking a look at their website.

NASA are also developing a supersonic jet and this shows possibilities of London to New York in just 90 Minutes! More detail on this project can be found here.
