When UK lockdowns began back in early 2020, many plans had to be postponed or cancelled, including a large number of weddings and civil ceremonies, in fact 7,000 according to this recent ITV News report -https://www.itv.com/news/2021-03-16/covid-7000-weddings-to-be-cancelled-in-england-after-lockdown-roadmap-confusion
During the past 18 months rules have been constantly changing for weddings with regards to the number of guests permitted and rules around reception socialising. We now see that things are improving and are hopeful that ‘normality’ for the wedding industry will return soon.
Voyager UK has been really pleased to see a recent increase in bookings for our Mercedes wedding cars in Northampton and with our vehicles dressed in ribbon and bows in the bride’s choice of colour, it has been wonderful being back as part of these special days.
