Home Sentry
At Voyager UK, we realise that from a security point of view, when you are away from home, the less people who know the better. But understandably, there is always the worry that whilst you are not there, your empty property may attract unwanted attention.
All that worry could soon be a thing of the past with Home Sentry, our new property monitoring service that enhances the safety of your home whilst you are away on holidays or business trips.. Home Sentry will not only complement your existing security systems, it will also provide that extra reassurance that your home is in safe hands.
Home Sentry is available in three options so you can decide which level of service is best for you.
Sentry 1 option
One of our staff* will visit your property during your chosen 24-hour period and check that all doors, windows, gates and garages are securely locked. They will then look through the windows from the outside to confirm everything is in order and as it should be. A record is kept to confirm timed visits, and should any evidence of damage be discovered, details will be noted and the damage photographed. We will then contact you and forward that information so you can decide what action to take to rectify the situation. Photographs can be emailed if necessary.
Sentry 2 option
As option 1 Plus
With a key provided by you, our staff will enter your property and clear mail and newspapers from the doorway and check that no internal damage has occurred, i.e., burst water pipes or flooding etc. Lighting patterns and curtains will be adjusted accordingly to create that 'at home' feeling. As with option 1, we will notify you immediately with any discovery of damage. Records of entry times and findings will be noted and retained for your return.
Sentry 3 option
Using keys supplied by you, one of our staff will visit the property during your chosen 24-hour period and unlock your vehicle(s)
and start the engine(s) to prevent the battery from going flat whilst not in use. The vehicle will be run for approximately 5-10 minutes before being turned off and locked again. The vehicle will not be driven or moved from where it is parked as this is only a 'starting' service. Mileages will be noted at the start of the visiting period as proof of this, and as with all our Sentry options, a full record of visit times and comments will be given to you on your return.
